Character: Larry Pelosi
Based on: Lamorak de Galis
Age: 25
Occupation: fuzzy; currently working at a grocery store while diligently attempting to get discovered on MySpace

Bio:
Sir Lamorak is the son of King Pellinore of Wales (one of his legitimate ones), and is widely regarded as one of the finest of Arthur's early knights, mentioned in the same breath as Tristan and Lancelot. Unfortunately, he managed to get involved in a blood feud with the Orkneys over the deaths of their respective fathers. And then had the brilliant idea to become involved with Lot's widow, Queen Morgause. ...this did not end well, for anyone.

Larry, on the other hand, has been hitchhiking toward NYC for the past four years. He started out from Michigan, and has since then worked his way through a series of middling jobs to make enough money to move to the next stop. This has occasionally led to sleeping in parks, but he's mostly gotten by on charm and frugality. He's been in Britannia for the past year or so, partially because he signed a longer lease for a better rate, and partially to finish enough songs for a demo album. It's a nice enough place, but it's just one more stop along the road.

He's always had weird dreams; it's what got him started in songwriting. Recently, though, they've been getting more frequent. He's taking it as a sign he needs to get moving soon.

Personality:
Lamorak is personable and open, friendly and more than a bit of a flirt. He likes to party, but at the end of the day, music comes first, and he's surprisingly disciplined, often to the point of alienating friends or girlfriends.

Sample Post:

Larry was ready to dig his own eyes out with a pen. Most days, he just clocked his eight hours and went home. But today it seemed like all the crazy people had coordinated their grocery shopping. There was the man who'd demanded why they stopped stocking "his" peanut butter, the woman who wanted all her groceries in separate, individual plastic bags, and the winning gentleman who'd asked when Larry planned to do something with his life. It was all very exciting.

Right.

"Hey, Lar. You look like a man who could use a drink." Ben grinned at him from across the isle. "You get off at seven?"

"Yeah." He sighed. "But look, I really need to get home..."

"Come on. My treat. You deserve it for not punching him in the face." Before Larry could reply, a customer entered Ben's lane, and he turned away.

Larry considered. He did want to finish up a song... but on the other hand, he didn't know if he'd have the concentration to deal with it. And a beer sounded great about now. Screw it. He could finish the song tomorrow.
